Current Year Reduction Actions

01

What We’re Reducing

We plan to reduce the impact of our fiber sourcing for clothing by incorporating recycled cotton into our line.

How We'll Reduce It

Utilize the cutting table scraps that MATE collected and recycled in 2021 to fill an order of recycled fabric that is made up of recycled cutting scraps from MATE production. We will incorporate this recycled fabric into a recycled cotton product line.

02

What We’re Reducing

We plan to reduce the emissions associated with growing and transporting cotton for clothing production by sourcing U.S grown cotton that uses carbon farming / regenerative practices to reduce the impact of our cotton and promote healthy California soils.

How We'll Reduce It

We are currently working pre competitively with a coalition of brands to commit to this cotton and pay farmers a premium to implement these carbon farming and regenerative practices.
