Sustainability Story

My mission is to make clothing that feels like home, and to make it in a way that you can feel good about. We make well-crafted, beautiful, and functional products - because products that you love are products that you keep, care for, mend, and use for years. The most sustainable garment is the one you use often and for a long time, and I try to make things that will encourage you to do just that. We analyze the lifecycle of our products and make improvements to extend usability and reduce waste. We use natural fibers which are biodegradable and produced using renewable resources. Beyond the choice of the fiber, we're constantly working toward improved transparency and responsibility throughout the supply chain.

Current Year Reduction Actions

01

What We’re Reducing

We plan to reduce material waste and overall material usage/yield per product by utilizing any fabric remnants larger than 10"x10" from cutting our primary garments to create additional products.

How We'll Reduce It

We will ensure that at least 30% of new products released can utilize these smaller interstitial fabric pieces.

02

What We’re Reducing

We plan to eliminate all plastic and non-recyclable/compostable elements from our packaging.

How We'll Reduce It

We will replace all of our garment bags with compostable bags. We will use cardboard mailers for shipping, and will use paper/Kraft tape to seal packages. We will ask our candle manufacturer to eliminate individual plastic wrapping from their packaging.
