1. Guided Support Fees
The Guided Support option for preparing certification submissions includes a BEE license, resources, and the knowledge network provided by our team and coaches.
Companies that are able to do this work independently, relying only on internal or external resources (i.e., without Guided Support), may apply to become certified via Independent Submission.
The Guided Support Fee is due upon signing the Brand License Agreement (for first-time certifying brands) or certification kickoff (for re-certifying brands).
What's Included
The Business Emissions Evaluator (BEE)
Annual license to our carbon management software platform, the BEE. Includes carbon inventory tools, visualizations, reduction planning and analysis tools, and target-setting worksheets.
Guided Carbon Management Support
A hands-on support program to guide you through preparing to meet certification requirements. Includes preset deadlines, email reminders, and group support. You’ll be paired with a Carbon Management Coach for 1:1 touch-points on measurement and reduction planning.
Carbon Credit Provider Directory
A directory of carbon credit providers including provider info, pre-vetted project options, and links to purchase eligible verified carbon credits.
Educational Programs
A full library of self-service resources, with online and offline materials, to help you prepare your submission for certification, plus access to workshops, content, and events.
2. Small Business Support
Companies with less than $5m in annual revenues are opted into “Small Business Support” by default, and pay no Guided Support Fee. Small Business Support is a streamlined approach that works better for most small businesses.
However, small businesses may upgrade to Guided Support for a fee of $1,500 for a more detailed analysis and feedback throughout the certification prep process.
3. Independent Submission
Companies who wish to work independently or with the help of a 3rd party service provider may opt into the Independent Submission program. Companies will prepare certification materials independently and submit for review on a rolling timeline with limited support from the TCCP team.
4. Brand License Fee
Upon successfully demonstrating that you have met the Climate Neutral Certified Standard, you will pay a Brand License Fee to become licensed to use the Climate Neutral Certified Label and join our Certified Brand community. This fee is based on your annual emissions:
- The Brand License Fee is due at the conclusion of the certification process.
- There is a minimum Fee of $850.
What's Included
Brand License
License to use the Climate Neutral Certified marks for one calendar year beginning on the date you complete certification. This license terms are outlined in your Brand License Agreement.
Marketing Resources and Activations
Toolkits and communications guides to discuss your certification with your customers and audience. Participation in marketing and consumer engagement activations that raise awareness of climate change and the meaning of certification. Includes assets and content to help you announce and promote your status as a Climate Neutral Certified brand.
Community Benefits
Access to Slack community, educational events, workshops, and ongoing networking opportunities.
Notes
- Program Pricing does not include your costs of paying third parties (such as consultants, assurance providers, software providers, and/or carbon credit or REC brokers).
- Nonprofit organizations with emissions <1,000 tonnes receive a 50% discount on the Brand License Fee.
- Companies that pay the Guided Support Fee and begin, but do not complete certification may apply the payment toward the cost of an annual BEE license.
- All fees are non-refundable.
