The Knotty Ones is a digital-first sustainable knitwear brand that focuses on ethical and transparent garment production. The company is here to challenge the current fashion industry practices, that both allow for garment workers exploitation worldwide and fuel modern-day slavery. The brand combines local traditional crafts and modern aesthetics to create contemporary designs. Our goal is clear: to produce stable jobs, fair wages and financial independence for female artisans and female-founded factories in rural Lithuania, in marginalized areas where jobs are extremely scarce. All while not sacrificing style and environmental impact.
