What is Climate Neutrality
A state in which human activities result in no net effect on the climate system. Requires balancing of residual greenhouse gas emissions with reductions or removals. All Climate Neutral Certified brands must meet climate neutrality standards for measuring, offsetting, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from making and delivering products and services.
This certification covers business activities and operations for the following brands :
Supercharge Ltd achieved Climate Neutral Certification as part of 's certification process. 's measurement, offsetting and reduction plans fully account for Supercharge Ltd's 2021 emissions
01 Measure
Supercharge Ltd measured Scope 1, 2 and 3 cradle-to-customer emissions following categories and approaches established in the Climate Neutral standards.
GHG Protocol Scope 1
Emissions from energy used in buildings, fleets, and equipment.
63 tCO2e
GHG Protocol Scope 2
Emissions from electricity.
16 tCO2e
GHG Protocol Scope 3
Emissions from raw materials, manufacturing, shipping, air travel, and other activities in the supply chain.
332 tCO2e
Total Carbon Emissions
The sum of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
411 tCO2e
02 Offset
Supercharge Ltd invested in projects outside of their value chain to compensate for all of their measured carbon emissions. This step supports their climate neutrality designation, and enables Supercharge Ltd to take responsibility for historical emissions that can’t be reduced.
Total Investment in Carbon Credits
$4,932.00
Supercharge Ltd's credits came from:
Avoided Deforestation ?
Avoided Deforestation
Projects that reduce the risk of deforestation in important forest ecosystems.
Wind ?
Wind
Projects that support wind energy generation in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
Landfill Gas ?
Landfill Gas
Projects that capture methane gas from landfills to reduce emissions. The gas is then used to power local homes, providing a reliable local energy source.
Offset equivalency
For reference, reducing a footprint by 1000 tonnes is roughly equal to removing 230 passenger vehicles from the road for a year.

03 Reduce
Supercharge Ltd has set targets and identified actions to reduce their emissions from operations and their supply chain. These actions will enable Supercharge Ltd to emit fewer emissions in the future.
Mid Term Targets
Supercharge Ltd has committed to reducing emissions by .
This target is aligned with global trajectories to limit climate warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

This target is aligned with global trajectories to limit climate warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
Reduction Actions
Supercharge Ltd is implementing a Reduction Action Plan to reduce emissions from within its own operations and supply chain.
Current Year Reduction Actions
01
What We’re Reducing
We plan to reduce emissions from office energy usage
How We'll Reduce It
We will install new thermometers and upgrade window insulation in the office.
02
What We’re Reducing
We plan to increase the efficiency of office space usage (last year's action referred to moving to new office. However we have decided to stay in the current office and adapt way of working.)
How We'll Reduce It
Switching to flexible working setup without guaranteed desks for every employee as of Sep 1st, 2022

What We’re Reducing
Decrease the avg. number of miles travelled on business trip (abroad) per employee by 30% by end of 2022 (2019 baseline)
How We'll Reduce It
Encourage alternative travel modes on short distance (take trains rather than flights) Avoid travel through remote workings session (virtual workshops, conferences instead of in-person)

What We’re Reducing
Increase the energy efficiency of our office space as measured by energy use per sqm. Supercharge will move to new office in March 2023, and we plan to select an office with better energy efficiency than our current location.
How We'll Reduce It
Introduce into the selection process of our new office space as key criteria the energy efficiency of the location.
