Reduce

Rumpl is implementing a Reduction Action Plan to reduce emissions from within its own operations and supply chain.

  • Reduce Rumpl HQ natural gas and electricity use by improving efficiency of lighting, HVAC system and identifying other areas for energy reduction.

  • Continue to increase our use of post-consumer recycled material and organic natural fibers in our products with the aim to be 99% PCR or organic fibers by 2023.

Other Sustainability Notes

Joining Climate Neutral was a natural next step in our company's sustainability efforts. Rumpl has been a member of 1% For The Planet since 2017, and through that partnership we've supported organizations like The National Parks Foundation and The Raincoast Conservation Foundation. Beginning in 2019 we incorporated post-consumer recycled material into our best selling products, and to date we have up-cycled over 5 Million discarded plastic bottles through those efforts. As a part of the outdoor industry, we think it is important to protect the spaces where we and our consumers like to play. Offsetting our company's footprint is an important action, and we hope it inspires other companies to do the same.
