Sustainability Story

As a B Corp Certified, zero waste creative factory, Portland Garment Factory (PGF) has implemented sustainable practices across all departments. From the development of products, material sourcing, and production, to general operations, we are committed to being as sustainable as possible every day. Our zero waste program means that we never throw any material waste in the trash. All materials take on new life either as new products or are donated to the community. We pulverize all material scraps that are at the end of their life cycle into PGF Puff, which we use for filling in our Gift Shop products. PGF is also known for our creative ingenuity in taking existing products and making them into reworked goods that have the power to spread a message of sustainability on a global scale. We believe that these sustainability initiatives are ongoing and ever-evolving. We are committed to learning, listening, and implementing increased measures as we continue on this important journey!
