Other Sustainability Notes

Our vision is to push the fashion industry in a more sustainable direction – where success is based on more than just offering the cheapest price – a direction that not only values exceptional design, but the producer and the planet just as much as the end consumer. The fashion industry is responsible for 8% of annual greenhouse gas emissions! Rather than further contributing to climate change, we believe it’s our responsibility as a brand, and greater industry, to do our part in solving the climate crisis. Since early 2018, we have offset the carbon emissions of everything we have produced by investing in forest conservation in the Cordillera Azul of the Peruvian Amazon. Through Climate Neutral, we now have visibility into our entire carbon footprint, and have offset the emissions across all of our operations. This means that, to date, our customers have enabled us to protect 318,190 trees covering an area of 57,950,741 square feet (that’s 452 soccer fields) from deforestation in the Amazon Basin and offset 2,991 metrics tons of CO2. This is the equivalent of taking 646 cars off the road for a year or 336,559 gallons of gas consumed. Our conservation project currently supports 716 jobs, 30% of which are held by women.
