About Climate Neutral Certification

Wherever you see the Climate Neutral Certified label, it means the company is accountable for its greenhouse gas emissions. To earn the label, a company must annually measure cradle-to-customer emissions, implement specific action plans to reduce emissions, and invest in high quality, verified carbon credits.

The certification requirements are detailed in the rigorous, peer-reviewed Climate Neutral Certified Standard. Each company’s application is reviewed for compliance by Change Climate’s certification team.

Jikoni is working closing with local and sustainable suppliers to exclusively source ingredients for our seasonal menus and have partnered with a biodynamic farm Waltham Place, an hour away, for bits it can’t source closer by. Bhogal and her team are also working closely with First Mile, an environmentally-friendly recycling group, with any non-recyclable business waste being used to generate green energy. Of which, the restaurant has used green gas – created through solar and wind power – since September 2019.
