Other Sustainability Notes

As a new company, we are excited to join with Climate Neutral from the beginning to keep ourselves accountable and focused on being a more sustainable business. What we have found since founding our company is that most systems in the consumer product industry are not highly focused on being environmentally friendly. Most manufacturers, suppliers, fulfillment companies, and retailers have had their systems in place for a long time, and change will not start from them without outside pressure. It would be very unlikely for a manufacture or supplier to ask us to comply with their sustainability requirements, because in general they do not have sustainability requirements as a priority as they are largely out of the sight of the public, and even business owners. If you want sustainability, you need to ask for it. Change will only come from changing our own standards and practices of business and educating our customers and community about what we are doing and why. In this way, as more and more businesses adapt to environment-first business practices throughout their supply chain, we hope that the entire ecosystem of consumer product manufacturing, sales and delivery will choose to get on board. We will do our best to make internal changes wherever possible, and offset the emissions of what we are unable to avoid when producing and shipping our products. We are really happy to be part of Climate Neutral and the group of brands choosing to make a difference in their business practices and we look forward to seeing this grow.
