03 Reduce

Flooret is implementing a Reduction Action Plan to reduce emissions from within its own operations and supply chain.

  • Flooret will be launching a wood-based product which has a lower energy requirement to manufacture and will reduce our reliance on PVC.

  • Flooret plans to optimize inventory at its warehouses, reducing transit times and lower fuel consumption.

Sustainability Story

Our team at Flooret is committed to reducing our impact on the environment and leaving things better than we found them. The building materials industry is notoriously wasteful. We're challenging that standard and inspiring others in our industry to do the same. That's why we use low carbon footprint materials, like limestone, in our flooring. We're also implementing a recycling program that will keep flooring out of the landfill and we're exploring upcycling opportunities. We're focused on supporting forestry conservation and the production of clean energy with our carbon offsets. Together, we can halt climate change and its negative effects on our planet.
